I did actually pick up and move these bowls to a different shelf (didn't just pick out a green shelf and took a shot)
Green and Red, Complimentary Black, Monochromatic I just realized I accidentally did green split complimentary for this instead of triad. -_- Gold, Monochromatic Red, Monochromatic Another monochromatic; green.

This bra transformed from a couple of themes: fantasy and my influence on Jason Rhoades. He is an installation artist who manipulates lights and or lighting. His work inspired my use of christmas lights, which have a very strong impact when viewing this piece in the dark. My found objects started developing in my mind as a bug with wings after i gathered them together. The theme of fantasy is portrayed because this creature, Luminalgia, does not exist in the human world and fantasy is easily described as something that is unreal. If you will, humans have a soul that is intangible. The christmas lights represent the bugs soul. One is incapable of holding light rays. Luminalgia contains a human like quality of having a soul but can only live within the mind of an individual and not in the world we perceive through our eyes. |
